Construction Supervision and Quality Control & Assurance

SOGETRA also provides services throughout the construction phase of a project, on a consultancy basis. Over the course of the project the team performs audits at project milestones, with the intent of verifying the conformity of the works to the structural plans in reference.  Quality Assurance/Quality control is performed with utmost diligence using U.S. standards to ensure construction projects meet contract specifications, comply with Construction Specification Institute standards, and conform with safety requirements and legal codes

Project Scheduling

We utilizes Critical Path Method scheduling to provide its clients with customized and accurate project schedules. Our staff is skilled in developing, analyzing, updating and monitoring project schedules and other project reporting procedures, to improve overall project efficiency.
SOGETRA staff members are experienced with project management softwares such as MS Project, OmniPlan, and Primavera.

Sustainable Design and Consulting

Despite the relative absence of the field of green development and construction in Haiti, SOGETRA values and encourages the practice of sustainable design, by applying the standards and recommendations formulated by the U.S. Green Building Council, to the extent possible locally.

Amongst its staff members, SOGETRA currently counts LEED Accredited Professionals, trained in the field of sustainable design and particularly sustainable site development, water efficiency, and sustainable material and resource allocation.

Handicap Accessibility Design and Retrofit

With the increasing need to value and manage the diversity of employee and client base in Haiti, particularly those with disabilities, SOGETRA has expanded its services to include Accessibility consultancy, design and retrofit.

With several years of experience with Handicap accessiblity retrofit in Government buildings in the New York Metropolitan areas, SOGETRA staff members have worked in various complex environments, and are trained to provide practical and constructible solutions to accessibility issues.
